Violent crimes: Shooting leads to charges against Utah man

In many cases, having more information about a particular situation can help individuals more comfortably address it. One man in Utah may want to take the time of find the right information about his current predicament. Reports stated that authorities took the man into custody in connection to a fatal shooting. The situation began when police conducted a traffic stop in the area where the shooting occurred and found a .45-caliber weapon in the vehicle. There were two individuals in the vehicle at the time, but their identities were not given.

About an hour later, the body of a 21-year-old man was found as well as bullet casings that matched the weapon found earlier in the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle claimed that he saw another man shoot the victim in the head. It was not clear how authorities got in contact with the other man or if he was the other person in the vehicle that was stopped, but nonetheless, he was questioned by police and allegedly stated that the weapon was his. As a result, the 35-year-old man was taken into custody on suspicion of murder.
